Our Halloween Festivities

Our family at the pumpkin patch. We had lots of fun there. Alyssa got to do a bungee jump on a trampoline, Justin got to jump in the bounce house and Spencer proved to his father that he didn't hit like a girl and dinged the bell on the strength game. Alyssa and Spencer had fun carving the pumpkins. Justin didn't even want to put his hand in the pumpkin and touch the slimy seeds and guts. Not that I blame him. Needless to say that became my job as the mommy. But they had fun and our pumpkins looked great! My 3 beautiful babies ready to go Trick or Treating. We have a medievil princess, and of course Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. The two cutest transformers in the world. This is Justin when left alone with his candy bucket. He is sitting in a pile of candy wrappers and is showing me the Kit Kat that of course he wants me to open. He mostly loved all the suckers he got and often snatched those out of his siblings buckets as well.

Taco Night at the Blackwell's

So when I told my family that I was making tacos for dinner, it was no big surprise that they were very excited. Of course the discussion starts on who makes the best; Papa, Grandma, or Mommy. So of course Alyssa comes to my rescue telling everyone that I make the best. So Spencer being the wise one that he is has to pipe in "No! Papa makes the best tacos, that is why they are called famous." So of course I had to grab the camera and take pictures of our joyeous and delicious dinner just so I could tell Spencer's cute story! What's a story without a picture?

Spencer

Spencer is my 1st grader. He loves school and everything about it. He loves to play any sports with his Dad and can usually be seen with some form of ball. He loves to read to you and is doing very well with it. Spencer is my well-rounded little boy and is a great joy to be around.

Justin

Justin is my rambuctious little 2 year old. He loves Transformers and teasing us. This is his first year where both Spencer and Alyssa are gone all day at school and he loves it. He is guaranteed to make you laugh. He has tons of energy and is always on the go. But he also can be very snuggly and sweet. What can I say he is a two year old little boy.

Alyssa

Alyssa is my 3rd grader. She loves school and was recently accepted into the gate program. She loves Panda Bears and is a great helper to me and her siblings. Alyssa just recently got glasses and loves them. She is an excellent reader and you can usually find her with her nose in a book. Most likely a Rainbow Fairy Book.

Our Family Vacation

We had a great time on our family vacation to San Diego. This was our first official family vacation going somewhere where we weren't just visiting family, and Greg didn't take his golf clubs. We got to go to the beach, Sea World, and San Diego Zoo. Greg even took us to a restuarant that served food from Spain called Cafe Sevilla. We had paella and it was good. The kids didn't care for it and Greg said that it was more spicier than the one that they served in Spain. We'll have to see about that. Greg also made the kids day when he won them a giant stuffed shamu whale!! We had fun spending time together and laughing together. Alyssa's favorite part was the Panda Bears and feeding the dolphins. Spencer loved the Hippo especially when it was pooping. He also loved getting soaked on Shipwrecked Rapids. Justin loved the sharks and the octopus. He also liked the elephants. The kids had fun swimming in the pool...well for Spencer the hot tub. It was a great vacation and I hope you enjoy our pictures.

Trip to Ocean Beach

On our trip to San Diego we got to go to Ocean Beach.

Alyssa enjoyed dodging the waves and hunting for sea shells, she collected as many as she could find.
Greg and I took turns finding some for the boys.

The boys enjoyed playing in the sand and building sand castles.

We had a great time.
